Well half a year is gone and my hockey season officially came to an official close. Let me sum up my hockey season so far. Firstly, Khalsa took part in the under 21 tournament. It was the beginning of my learning journey. We beat the defending champion SCC 2-1, but lost to the eventual champions SAFSA. We were on level points with SCC and SAFSA, but lost out on goal difference. I also scored my 1st goal of the year agianst TPJC. I remembered i got the ball at top D, and i sweep it to the bottom left corner. Sweet goal!
Then i went into SAJC through sports appeal. Its a totally different environment from SASS and Khalsa. People there are much more serious in trainings and games. But in SASS and Khalsa, ttrainings are slack and we will playaful even if PS is around. And in games, we will laugh and really have fun. Even sometimes if we are losing. My time in SAJC was the period when i really improved on my fitness. And now i can last the whole game.
A Division was also a brand new experience for me. Players there all have fitness and they keep on running. But sadly most of them do not have what i call " Hockey sense". This tournament is very special as i scored 2 goals. My first ever in school tournament. And in the semis, we went to penalties. Which i put in the winning one, credit also given to Ram who save one and the 4 other flickers. Oh and who can forget about the ACSI player who miss his penalty, thank you. And we went to the finals but sadly im suspended. Oh and this is the first school tournament i got suspended and recieve lots of cards. Yes my green card in the semis was really a ..... WAIT! Its not even a foul. The ACSI player xianyi body/stick check me. But who cares, in the under 18 tournament which im going to talk about later, i gave him back what he deserves haha. Oh Christain hit him or done something. Well done! Lets go back to the semis, the refree i must say is freaking blind. I think blinded by money. The ACSI people might have bribed him, or he thinks flashing green cards around is cool. Well screw you.
This is also the 1st time Khalsa took part in the premier league. We are the youngest ever team to participate. We started off slow, getting thrash 10-0 by SRC in our first match. But hey we ended with a bang! We won CSC 3-0, with 10 men, and somemore not our best squad. And the best part is me scoring 2 goals. Well we didnt participate to make up the numbers, we give lots of teams a hard fight. And we finish 2nd!!! from bottom with 10 points. But i really hope i can attend more of the games. But had trainings on saturdays and the fear of getting injured prevent me from going.
And finally the under 18 tournament that ended 2 days ago. Its super screwed up and crappy. Games are played in Northland and Teck Whye, what the hell!!! Some ulu place. And its like cramp up in a week. So postponed games are like played in the morning and worse, at ulu place. And the best is that our refree came late. Well we lost in the semis against Jansenites. And as usual we dont have subs. Thats like the trademark of Khalsa, short of players or no subs. We lost on penalties.
So this sums up my hockey season. But like always theres room for improvement.
Next entry will be the summary of my academics so far. Excited eh people???
